MMA Fans Are Getting Very Excited About The ‘Insanely Stacked’ UFC 225 Card

UFC 225 is ridiculously stacked…

After Tony Ferguson was removed from UFC 223 just six days before his much-anticipated clash with Khabib Nurmagomedov, fans began to question the reliability of the promotion’s pay-per-view events.

The Khabib/Ferguson cancellation was the fourth time that a fight between the pair had been called off and with that, UFC 223 became the promotion’s third pay-per-view card in a row to have its main event cancelled.

As a result of the seemingly unstable nature of UFC cards, fans are now finding it hard to get excited about PPV events wondering if the tickets they are buying will actually be delivered on.

However, despite the fury, it seems the UFC is returning to a pretty reliable model for June’s UFC 225. Scheduled to take place in Chicago’s United Centre, rather than featuring one superstar-studded main event with a weak undercard, the UFC have layered the entire card with some pretty big names.

The PPV event will feature two title fight main events with Robert Whitaker and Yoel Romero squaring off for the middleweight title while Rafael Dos Anjos and the controversial Colby Covington will throw down for the interim welterweight strap. Meanwhile, the likes of Holly Holm, Alistair Overeem, Ricardo Lamas and former WWE superstar CM Punk will also make an appearance.
