After months of speculation, details regarding Conor McGregor’s next fight are apparently set to be revealed very soon.
The Dubliner has not fought since defeating Eddie Alvarez to win the lightweight title last November, but that does not mean that he has been out of the headlines.
Far from it in fact, as his break from action as he prepared to become a father coincided with increased speculation that he is set to compete in a superfight with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather.
McGregor took to Instagram on Monday to tease details about his next fight, but those that were hoping that it might be the silver bullet that confirms the fight with Floyd were left frustrated – though they will not have to wait much longer to find out what is to become of that potential bout:

Speculation is likely to be ramped up further ahead of the fight announcement. A huge number of fighters have called out the former featherweight champ in the past few months, and while Mayweather would be the showstopper, McGregor has any number of options for hs next bout.
