Conor McGregor has seemingly responded to Floyd Mayweather’slatest series of jibes.
The 49-0 boxer has been active in calling out McGregor this week, from Instagram posts to alleging that he’s had meetings with Dana White about potentially making what would be one of the biggest fights of all time finally happen, in what would appear to be a response to the Notorious One obtaining a boxing licence last month.
McGregor, however, refused to rise on the bait in a Twitter post on Friday.

While the post itself is open to interpretation, the most striking element of it is that there is no direct response whatsoever to Mayweather’s bear-baiting, in fact casually reminding Money that he has other options.
Indeed, the alternatives for the Irishman’s next fight are plentiful with a number the UFC roster lining up to have their shot at taking him down, not to mention a lightweight strap still to defend.
However, that will have to wait as the general consensus is that the 28-year-old will be taking a break until his partner Dee Devlin has given birth to their first child in the new year.
As for whether or not the McGregor vs. Mayweather superfight will ever happen – both men have been back and forth on the issue for some time now, but the reality is that until they have signed the contract (if, indeed, they ever do) the concept still remains a pipe dream.
