Last night it emerged that Brock Lesnar has been flagged for a doping violation after UFC 200. The WWE star brought home to biggest purse of the flagship event with a victory over Mark Hunt.

However, these allegations bring his victory into disrepute.

Speaking to Fox, Hunt blasted Lesnar and the UFC, demanding half of the purse for the fight.

“I said (to the UFC), ‘If you don’t give me half his s**t [purse], I’m walking away from this company, I want out of here. This is rubbish.

“You [UFC] better do something. You guys are just making a mockery out of us, you’re making a fool out of me, you make me look like an idiot.

“I lost on that night to some f***ing cheat. There’s no way he could weigh 265 [pounds] like me – he was about 500 kilos, there was no f***ing way he was weighing in at my weight. It just makes a mockery of the whole sport, it makes a fool out of all of us, all the people who’ve paid money for top end fighting – now all they’ve got is a cheat against a guy who doesn’t cheat.”

“They give frickin’ [Nick] Diaz five years for marijuana – what about these clowns that are cheating? F***ing clowns that are caught doping for enhancement.

“I think he should either forfeit his purse or refund all the f***ing money to people who paid to watch it.

“Half of his purse should come to me – maybe all of it. The guy shouldn’t get a cent. That, or refund everyone that paid money. They paid for an even playing field – they didn’t get that. They got a cheater against a guy not cheating.

“If they already knew he [Lesnar] was doping, why didn’t they let [Jon] Jones fight?

“I’m lucky I didn’t get injured.”

Mark Hunt is clearly upset, and it is not difficult to empathise. It will be interesting to see what transpires in the coming days.
