Conor McGregor is in incredible nick despite the fact that he does not have a fight on the horizon…
Since the turn of the new year, Conor McGregor has returned to the gym and seems entirely determined to make his UFC comeback. In fact, such is the SBG man’s determination to return, it was recently confirmed that he had attempted to book a late slot on last weekend’s UFC 222 card.
Although a fight camp is usually embarked upon after the signing of a fight agreement, McGregor currently seems to be taking the ‘stay ready’ approach with the Irishman announcing on Thursday evening that he had recently completed a ’10-week camp’.
The @conormcgregorfast conditioning program is the true animal. 10 TRUE weeks long this camp was. To reach THAT shape. On the MCGREGOR FAST program. 10 weeks. Amazing! Sign up for this program at mcgregorfast.com. For the real only. It’s ten fucking weeks. And for the not real trust me. I will see every single person that attempts to utilise these methods without respect. Pay your respect. McGregor FAST. 10 week camp. Look at the fucking shape I am in. I am like a statue on Dublin’s O’Connell street. I might put one there someday.
Although Dana White recently stated that he was unsure if McGregor would ever return to the Octagon, the Dubliner was quick to respond announcing that ‘he is fighting again. Period.’
When the 29-year-old inevitably makes his return remains to be seen but, with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson due to throw down at UFC 223 in a matter of weeks, things should certainly become a lot clearer in the not too distant future.
