John Kavanagh Gives Major Update On Conor McGregor Comeback [Report]

Conor McGregor John Kavanagh

As the UFC wait on Conor McGregor to make his return to the octagon, many are growing impatient. Interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson is in line for his shot at the undisputed strap, but the Irishman hasn’t fought in the promotion since he was crowned the 155lb king in November 2016.

Since his foray into boxing, there has been speculation as to when McGregor would once again fight under MMA rules. Reports of a comeback at UFC 219 next month were circulating, but the ‘Notorious’ One’s actions at a Bellator event last week seem to have put pay to these rumours.

John Kavanagh is currently in Bahrain for an event, and spoke to MMA journalist Farah Hannoun on the issue. The SBG supremo stated that McGregor may not be back in the octagon until April, and no deal is currently in place.
