Jon Jones Takes A Pop At Daniel Cormier Over Recent Training Video

Jon Jones recently described his ongoing feud with Daniel Cormier as “childish”, but the former UFC light-heavyweight champion and current interim titleholder seems to take great pleasure in the immature bickering all the same.

We saw yet more proof of that fact on Friday, when Cormier gave fans a little glimpse into the final stages of his preparation for the pair’s UFC 200 title unification rematch and simultaneously opened himself up to an attack from the man responsible for the only blemish on his 17-1 record.

‘DC’ seemed in a fine mood and proudly displayed some of his boxing technique during a clip in which he works the pads with Rosendo Sanchez.

Jones however, was quick to criticize, pointing out that the trajectory of Cormier’s punches would have to be a little different come fight night.

At 6’4 Jones certainly dwarfs Sanchez, who was a bantamweight during his professional career, but Cormier promised that ‘Bones’ that he would have no issues landing shots on July 9th. An unfortunately timed typo opened up him up to yet another jibe from his bitter foe however.

This fight probably belongs in a schoolyard, but alas it will take place in an octagon at the brand new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada next Saturday night.
