Having spent the past couple of days in Belfast dropping all sorts of bombshells with regard to the UFC stripping his featherweight belt and his boxing intentions, a report in The Sunday Life now claims that Conor McGregor will make an appearance in one of the final two seasons of HBO’s Game Of Thrones.
According to the report, ‘well placed sources’ have stated that the deal has already been agreed after the UFC champion was ‘headhunted’ to make an appearance in the hugely popular show.
It’s been agreed that McGregor will appear in one of the remaining two seasons of Game of Thrones.
He was headhunted as it were by HBO, as one of the Game of Thrones directors is a huge UFC fan. They believed that he would be a perfect fit for the show.
Whether McGregor will have a significant role or will simply appear as a cameo remains to be seen. In fact, given the number of falsities that frequently circulate with regard to the Irishman, we’re not exactly hedging our bets on this one coming to fruition.
However, given the someone viking like appearance of the UFC champion, we reckon he’d be a fantastic addition in the hunt for the iron throne.
