Over the past month, the majority of the UFC 200 chatter surrounded Conor McGregor and whether the recently defeated Irishman would return to featherweight or take on Nate Diaz in a rematch on July the 9th.
When the news first leaked that Conor McGregor was being lined up to take on Nate Diaz for a second time, most MMA fans were in disbelief as it seemed certain that the ‘Notorious’ was set to return to 145 to defend his featherweight title.

As it transpired, the most logical decision was made with Aldo and Edgar now due to face each other for an interim belt on the 9th of July with the winner guaranteed a shot at Conor McGregor.
