Daniel Cormier Issues Statement After New UFC 200 Opponent Confirmed

On Wednesday night, the news was confirmed that Jon Jones was removed from the UFC 200 card after allegedly testing positive for performance enhancing drugs.

In the hours that followed, the sporting media attempted to wrap their heads around the gravity of the news for the event in question, and the two men involved.

Jon Jones held a press conference in which he pleaded innocence while struggling to keep hold of his emotions while Daniel Cormier was left contemplating a huge financial loss and a wasted, grueling training camp.
