As UFC 202 edges closer and closer, tensions continue to build. Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz face off in Las Vegas in less than 48 hours.

After an obligatory media session following an open workout at the Red Rock Casino, McGregor did not hold back.

“F*ck the Diaz brothers. F*ck those cockroaches!

“It’s a big fight. It always was. We came here ready for war. We’re not here ready to throw bottles and go running, we’re here to fight!

“That fairytale that he [Nate] is after having is coming to an end.

“All of his little fans are giving him this invincible feeling that he can’t be knocked out. He can be knocked out, and he will be knocked out.

“My legacy is set in stone. It was set in stone when José [Aldo] crumbled in 13 seconds. This is just something else outside of this. This is just a straight fight.”

He closed off bullishly, throwing the microphone into the air and walking straight out of the arena.

“F*ck Team Diaz, and if you’re down with Team Diaz, then f*ck you too!”

It was an emphatic exit.
