UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor has this morning tweeted that he is back on the card for UFC 200.

Last week, McGregor tweeted that he would be retiring, and while this transpired to be a bluff, the promotion did not back down, and Dana White announced that the Irishman was pulled from the card.

However, this morning the Notorious has tweeted that he is back on the card, and appears to be taunting UFC chiefs Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta for being the first ones to crack.

His return to the card seemed further away than ever when he taunted the company during Friday night’s press conference.

However, the figures of UFC 197 were simply dwarfed by 196, and it seems likely that White and Co. had no other option but to come crawling back.

Early this morning, McGregor has posted a tweet that comes as a major shock to the MMA world.

We are yet to receive any official confirmation from the UFC, but it appears likely that McGregor is truly back.

While it was not mentioned in the tweet, it can be assumed that Nate Diaz will remain the opponent.
