Conor McGregor has been released after being arrested in Miami earlier on Monday.
The mixed martial artist, who is holidaying in Miami with his family, was arrested after an altercation with a fan.
The Miami Beach Police report said that the Irish MMA star was leaving the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel at around 5am on Monday when the fan attempted to take a picture of Conor McGregor on a mobile phone. McGregor had allegedly been in the nightclub which is situated in the hotel.
Conor McGregor has been released from a Miami-Dade County jail, per a police spokesperson. He posted his bond of $12,500 at approximately 10 pm et, they said. Next for him will be a court appearance but the spokesperson said they didn’t know when that will be yet.

The report alleges that McGregor slapped the phone from the fan’s hand and stamped on it on the ground. He then left with the phone in his possession. McGregor was found by police and arrested at his home on Venetian Drive after they viewed the CCTV footage and they arrested him.
They charged McGregor with ‘strong-arm robbery and misdemeanour criminal mischief’. McGregor was taken to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami, but was released after posting a bond of $12,500.
