Ariel Helwani & DC Trade Blows Over UFC 219 Khabib/Tony Fiasco

On Wednesday evening, Daniel Cormier dropped a major update regarding UFC 219 as he announced that the promotion was trying to get Tony Ferguson vs Khabib Nurmagomedov booked for the December 30th main event.

The repercussions of that fight getting made would be rather severe with Khabib already booked on the card to face Edson Barbosa while Ferguson was previously said to have a guaranteed shot at Conor McGregor’s lightweight title as soon as the Irishman makes his return.

However, in breaking the news, Cormier seemingly tried to pressure Ferguson into accepting the bout, claiming that the UFC had now said that the McGregor fight would never happen, while he also berated the interim champion for rejecting the offer.

Come on Tony, that ain’t gangsta bruh. Take the fight man!!!!
