Famous rapper turned actor 50 Cent became the latest target of Conor McGregor’s social media antics after the UFC star took shots at him on Instagram last night.
While it’s been quite some time since we’ve seen Conor McGregor step foot inside the octagon, or even a boxing ring at this point, he has been keeping himself busy, on social media at least.
In recent times we’ve seen McGregor takes jibes at Max Holloway, Floyd Mayweather, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Tony Ferguson and many others.
However, Conor had a new victim in last night’s Instagram post. Famous rapper and ‘Power’ star 50 Cent was on McGregor’s radar and came in for some digs.
The duo have a slight history of course, 50 Cent was very vocal in support of his friend Floyd Mayweather last summer as he prepared to take on Conor McGregor.
This is clearly the reason for the call-out by McGregor, who actually walked out to 50 Cent in his UFC 205 victory over Eddie Alvarez.

Making deals and TAKING deals! Kings recognise Kings! Congrats to @jayz on his number 1 takeover from @diddy in the highest paid Forbes list. What a take-over! Diddy hasn't been number 2 in so long. Until now. Zoom into that two tone with the powder blue on my wrist mate. You might see 1st place again. I am also really interested to see this years Forbes highest paid athletes list. I have now surpassed @cristiano Ronaldo as I told him I would in 2016. Floyd as a retired fighter that makes ZERO substantial revenue outside of them ropes is not on the list, and in the long game, is already dead. Mixed Martial Arts is a glorious game, Floyd. You are going to love it hahaha Someone tag 50cent in this for me. He blocked me on this the mad 50 year old instagram blocker. Ahh don't block me 50 kid, I still like some of your songs. The older ones hahah King bless you all! @burgerking
In the post the SBG fighter writes:

More interestingly however, Conor talks quite a bit about the Forbes list in this Instagram post. It’s not the Forbes list that is interesting, just the fact that he speaks so much of it.
Since he became a two-division world champion and boxed Floyd Mayweather, we haven’t seen McGregor look to motivated in terms of seeking a fight.
It would appear that at this point the only thing McGregor is interested in is taking the number one spot on the Forbes highest paid athletes list.
McGregor believes he has now overtaken Cristiano Ronaldo and should now find himself at number one when the list is revealed later this year.
