Watch: Dana White Says McGregor Vs Mayweather Broke All Time Pay-Per-View Record Everywhere

Dana White has doubled down on his comments regarding the success of Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather…

Although recent reports had suggested that Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather fell just short of breaking the all-time pay-per-view record set by Mayweather and Pacquiao back in 2015, UFC President Dana White has once again stated that the fight broke PPV records in every region, including the US.

We broke the record. The thing ended up doing 6.7 million pay-per-view buys globally,” White said when speaking to the Wall Street Journal’s Unnamed Podvideocast. “How about this — we broke the record in Australia, we broke the record in the U.K. at 4 [a.m.] in the morning — 4 in the morning we broke the pay-per-view record. We broke the record in Spain, Canada, and the United States.

Unfortunately for the UFC, Showtime and both Mayweather and McGregor, White also said that the fight had broken a very unwanted record in that it was the most illegally streamed fight of all time.

We broke that record, too. The most pirated fight of all time,” White said. “That’s another record we broke.”
