A fantastic week for Conor McGregor just got better, with the news that ‘The Notorious’ has broken into the top ten in UFC rankings for the first time.
McGregor was in devastating form in Dublin when he easily saw off Diego Brandao with a first round win in front of a raucous Irish crowd. The O2 Arena was packed to the rafters and McGregor and his Straight Blast Gym teammates didn’t disappoint, completing a historic clean sweep for Coach Kavanagh’s fighters.

There were wins for Cathal Pendred, Gunni Nelson, Paddy Holohan and of course, McGregor. Neil Seery also recorded a win on the night for Team Ryano.
McGregor has been rewarded for his victory over Brandao, by being bumped up two spots to no.10 in the UFC’s updated Featherweight Rankings. We have no doubt McGregor will continue to scale the heights on his way to becoming a UFC champion.
