Impressive Dillon Danis Eases To Submission Victory Over Max Humphrey

Dillon Danis continued his unbeaten start to life in MMA as he made quick work of opponent Max Humphrey at Bellator 222 in Madison Square Garden on Friday night.

The jiu-jitsu standout hadn’t fought April when he defeated Kyle Walker via a toehold but his involvement in the heated Conor McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov feud meant that he had to serve a seven-month suspension from the sport.

Upon his return, Danis looked very impressive immediately taking his opponent down to the mat and dominating proceedings from there.

It looked as though the 25-year old would get the victory thanks to a barrage of strikes on the ground but Humphrey showed his toughness to hang on before Danis locked in the armbar to finish the fight.

Following the impressive submission victory, the ever-confident Danis took little time in calling out some of the sport’s biggest names as he continues to progress well in the MMA world.

“I said this before, I’m the f—king best in the world,” Danis said. “I said that already and I say it again. Let’s see who gets in here and stops me. Rory [MacDonald], Jon Jones, any of those b—ches, come and get it.”

Danis has also been involved in a war of words with UFC welterweight Ben Askren and the funky one was less than impressed at ‘El Jefe’s” showing at Madison Square Garden last night.
