‘You’ve Got To Applaud Him’ – Michael Bisping Has A Different Take On Conor McGregor’s Bus Attack

Former UFC middleweight Champion Michael Bisping has given a pretty interesting response to the disgraceful scenes that saw Conor McGregor smashing the window of a bus on Thursday evening.

Last week, MMA fans were shocked as footage of Conor McGregor and his posse wildly attacking a bus at a UFC media event went viral online.

McGregor has since been charged with assault and criminal mischief and some have even begun to wonder if the Irishman’s future with the UFC is now in doubt.

NEW YORK, NY - APRIL 06: Ultimate fighting star Conor McGregor stands with his lawyer Jim Walden during an arraignment in Brooklyn Criminal court on April 6, 2018 in New York City. McGregor is facing criminal charges in the wake of a backstage melee he allegedly instigated that has forced the removal of three fighters from UFC's biggest card of the year. Speaking during the live broadcast of UFC 223 over the weekend, Joe Rogan described McGregor’s behaviour as ‘pathetic and disgusting’ and stated that he was very upset by the behaviour of the promotion’s biggest star.

However, for Bisping, the McGregor incident was nothing more than a storm in a teacup as he dismissed the SBG man’s conduct as a mistake while also suggesting that the 29-year-old should be applauded for looking ‘out for his boys’.

There are no gangs in MMA. There are gangs in England. There are gangs in Dublin. There’s gangs all over the world just like right here. There are no gangs in MMA.

Conor is not trying to be a gangster. Conor is just trying to look after his boys, right? Which you got to applaud him for. He made a mistake. That’s all it is.
