According to Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager, Conor McGregor was extremely lucky that things didn’t get more out of hand during his wild attack at a UFC media day.
Speaking to TMZ, Ali Abdelaziz stated that he ‘wishes nothing but the best’ for Conor McGregor and his family but warned that it would be no holds barred war as soon as a fight between the Irishman and Nurmagomedov is booked.
Abdelaziz also slammed the wider team around McGregor accusing them of being ‘yes men’ before loudly announcing that they are ‘using Conor’ to get to places.
Discussing the incident at a UFC 223 media day, the Dominance MMA Management CEO stated that things could have been far, far worse than they were for everyone involved had Khabib had some of his teammates with him when McGregor stormed the Barclays Centre.
‘Right now, Conor McGregor’s not an enemy but, if the UFC book this fight, Conor McGregor is going to be the enemy of the fucking state. Him and his whole fucking team. And we’re going to declare war on them, all of them…
He have a bitch ass friend that can’t defend himself. He have to call 30 people to defend him – this guy should be cut from the UFC.
Trust me, I’m glad Khabib’s team wasn’t there because we would have been burying bodies. 100% bodies would have been buried. If Khabib’s team was there? We would be going to some funerals.’
