Joe Duffy Signs With Khabib’s Manager – Shots Immediately Fired At Conor McGregor

Well, this was an interesting move from Joe Duffy…

With a professional MMA record of 21-3, Joe Duffy will always stand out as a sore memory in the mind of the ‘Notorious’ Conor McGregor.

Taking on the Donegal man at a Cage Warriors event in Cork City back in 2010, McGregor suffered his second professional defeat with Duffy locking in an arm-triangle choke in the first minute of the very first round.

Although Duffy has since tried to distance himself from the obvious associations with the UFC’s biggest superstar, the 30-year-old made a decision this week that was obviously going to draw him back into the McGregor realm.

Announcing that he had signed with the rather controversial Ali Abdelaziz (who also represents Khabib Nurmagomedov), Duffy left his new manager’s kitchen only to watch on as Abdelaziz constantly tweeted that he had signed the ‘best Irish fighter’ in the UFC.

Seemingly intent on using Duffy as some sort of pawn in an obvious attempt to wind up a certain SBG man, McGregor fans were quick to retort at what was seen as a cheap shot by the Dominance MMA CEO.
