Watch: Tenshin Wins Kickboxing Fight In Style Ahead Of Mayweather Bout

Tenshin Nasukawa prepared for his mammoth upcoming clash with Floyd Mayweather in perfect fashion.

After an extraordinary press conference which saw the talented kickboxer matched up with the boxing great who subsequently backed out, the New Year’s Eve fight was remade with kicking banned.

While that puts the young Tenshin at a major disadvantage, Mayweather cannot afford to be complacent.

The 20-year-old was in action on Saturday at RISE 129 against Taiki Naito in a kickboxing contest. While his MMA record stands at 4-0, kickboxing has been his focus for the past year – a sport in which he is now 27-0 with 20 knockouts.

The latest of those came against Naito, with the rising Japanese star earning three knockdowns en route to a first round TKO.

The proposed bout with Mayweather under the RIZIN banner has been called an ‘exhibition’, so the final form that the fight takes is open to interpretation.
