Less than six weeks remain until one of the most anticipated rematches in recent history takes place between Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor.
August 20 is the scheduled date for both men to compete at welterweight yet again after their instant classic at UFC 196 in March.
However, as the theme of the official promo for UFC 202 that just aired at UFC 200 points out, the bad blood and competitiveness of both combatants means that they could collide anytime, any weight and anywhere.
Nate Diaz fought the featherweight champion on just ten days notice, yet that short amount of time allowed all manner of ill-will and bitterness to manifest, condensing years worth of animosity into less than two weeks.
They just aired a promo for UFC 202 and then cut to a shot of a very serious Conor McGregor sitting cageside. Big pop, of course.

The rematch at 170lbs takes place at the T Mobile Arena on August 20th, and as if the impending resumption of the war isn’t enough, the card is backed up the likes of Carlos Condit, Donald Cerrone and Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson.
