The UFC 202 weigh-ins start right here at 7PM ET/4PM PT and 12AM BST/GMT, with the headline feature being Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz’s rematch.
The fireworks that many will expect tonight following the explosive press ‘conference’ on Wednesday night are unlikely to materialise.
UFC president Dana White has taken the draconian yet understandable step of banning both Conor McGregor’s and Nate Diaz’s teams from attending tonight’s weigh-ins, with only the fighters themselves allowed to be present along with a sole colleague.
The weigh-in process does represent the final time that both Diaz and McGregor will come face to face before they do so in the Octagon tomorrow night though, so these two combustible elements may well ignite.
It also gives us armchair psychologists a final opportunity to gauge who has the mental edge heading into the epic rematch at the T-Mobile Arena.
As for the weigh-in itself, fans needn’t worry that anyone featured on the blockbuster card will miss weight. The ‘official’ weigh-in took place this morning, with Conor McGregor coming in at 168lbs. – three pounds below the allowed welterweight limit.
Nate Diaz tipped the scales at 170.5lbs., and his potential weight on fight night has been the subject of much speculation.
Tonight’s weigh-in can be seen below, and is live from 12am.
