Irish MMA is about to have another representative on a big stage.
Kiefer Crosbie is yet another prospect from Straight Blast Gym in Ireland, and the Irishman became one of many to join the ranks of Bellator MMA back in July.
Following in the footsteps of teammates James Gallagher and Richard Kiely, Crosbie will fight under the Bellator banner, and his debut bout will take place on December 1.
Per Peter Carroll of MMAFighting, ‘Big Daddy’ will face Orlando D’Ambrosio at Bellator 211, with the latter having home advantage with the event taking place in Genoa, Italy.
Crosbie boasts a 4-0 record, seeing off the likes of Conor Riordan, Waldemar Cichy and Josh Plant during his tenure at BAMMA, though his next opponent will be by far his most experienced to-date.
The Italian is 7-3 in his career, with two of those defeats coming in his last three contests. However, those took place at Cage Warrior events – a level at which his Irish opponent has yet to experience.
Crosbie was one of Pundit Arena’s “Irish Prospects To Watch Out For in 2018″ at the start of the year.
