The UFC’s number-1 middleweight contender Yoel Romero just released what could well be the most intense call-out video in the history of the UFC.
Yoel Romero is a pretty scary dude, all things considered.
Following the supposed collapse of the middleweight champion Michael Bisping’s next title defense against the returning Georges St-Pierre, the division’s top contender, Yoel Romero, released a truly frightening call-out of the English kingpin, one that does a good job at showing both his near-inhuman physique and his frankly terrifying intensity in equal measures.
Romero’s last fight ended in brutal fashion as he nearly caved in the skull of the former-middleweight champ Chris Weidman at UFC 205 and with him now boasting a perfect 8-0 record in the UFC, it’s hard not to agree with the ‘Soldier of God’ when he states that he is undoubtedly the one who deserves it most.
Bisping has yet to officially tie himself down to a replacement opponent for his next outing but if Dana White is to be believed, the former welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre will not be the one who attempts to pry the 185lb strap away from the Manchester-native, in fact, a return to the 170lb division that he dominated for so long would possibly be more likely for the Canadian.
If the rankings still hold any weight in the modern era of the UFC, Romero should be the one granted the next title fight and judging by his latest comments – as seen in the video above – the opportunity for a shot at UFC gold would be one that the Cuban would happily accept with open arms.
