UFC president has made it clear that more than one press conference will take place for Khabib/McGregor with the announcement set to come soon, now that UFC 228 is wrapped up.
If you were having fears over the radio silence that seemed to be surrounding the Oct 6 showdown then fear not, Dana White has seemingly put our concerns to bed.
We actually ran a piece last week detailing what exactly you should expect over the coming weeks and with this revelation, expect things to play out as we predicted.
White spoke to TSN and gave us an update on the UFC 229 main-event and how all will become clearer in the near future.
”There’s going to be a couple of press conferences. That’ll all be announced after [UFC228].
We’ll do this fight and then we’ll announce all the stuff that’s going on with Conor and Khabib. Nothing like [Mayweather/McGregor]. We should have, but there won’t be enough time.
“These guys, first of all, this is the toughest fight of both of their careers and these guys need time to train and get ready for this fight.
“It’s a month away. But we’re gonna have some good stuff for the press and for the fans.”
