Donald Cerrone may well be the most game fighter in the UFC today but even he will have a tough time topping this moment from his clash with Matt Brown.
“This is what I do. I love my job.”
Sure, most fighters will tell you something similar but in comparison to UFC veteran Donald Cerrone, most of them don’t even come close.
Cerrone makes a point of being the most active and game fighter in the UFC by some distance and now, even though he has found himself on the receiving end of some serious punishment, he will step in against another young, hungry lion in the form of Leon Edwards at UFC Singapore next weekend.
One win is all he needs to take home the record for the most wins one fighter has pulled together in UFC history at 21. A win by either KO or submission would also see him earn the record for most finishes amassed since the promotion’s beginnings.
Love him or hate him, you cannot deny Cerrone his status as a legend at this stage.
In the leadup to next weekend’s fight, the official Twitter account of UFC Fight Pass uploaded a video of a moment from Cowboy’s recent history – taken from the break in between rounds 2 and 3 of his gruelling showdown with Matt Brown from 2016.

With a KO/SUB, he will also have the most finishes – 1⃣5⃣.

In one of the toughest fights of his career up until that point, Cerrone was still clearly enjoying himself. The ‘badassery’ of the entire moment was capped off by the fact that he went out there and head-kick KO’d Brown within moments of letting UFC president Dana White know who the boss was.
We will certainly miss him when he is gone.
