Tyron Woodley managed to shut his doubters down in emphatic fashion last night after he ran through Darren Till in the UFC 228 main-event.
To those in the know, the talent of the UFC welterweight champion has been beyond question for some time now but on the back of several underwhelming showcases in his recent run, the mainstream fanbase had well and truly turned on Woodley.
Coming up against the hotly-tipped Darren Till at UFC 228 last night, there really was a sense that both the fans and even the promotion were hoping that the fresh, young talent from Liverpool would be able to usher in a new era for the division.
Woodley seemed to have other plans entirely, though.
Entering the arena in full-on ‘business-mode’, Tyron absolutely dominated the fight over the course of two rounds, limiting Till’s offence completely before dropping him brutally.
From there, he continued on to dish out a series brutal ground-strikes before his outmatched opponent left himself susceptible to a submission and the tap was made.
Tyron Woodley is the champ for a reason! ?

Woodley took it home by way of second-round d’Arce Choke and you’ll be hard-pressed to find anyone doubting his pedigree now.
