Watch: Tito Ortiz KO’s Chuck Liddell In Third (And Hopefully Final) Matchup

Tito Ortiz managed to close out the long and storied rivalry he shared with Chuck Liddell with a first-round KO in their third and final matchup last night.

Both men deserve credit for making the walk to the cage, no matter what the circumstances that surround it are.

With that being said, the finish that came during the main-event of last night’s Golden Boy MMA debut left something of an empty feeling in the hearts of those who watched it.

Ortis pressured Liddell from the first bell and while ‘The Iceman’ was able to fire off a few shots towards his opponent, none of them came with the same level of heat that he so often delivered in his prime.

When the first hard shot of the fight came, it was quick and as expected, it was one that ended proceedings.

Ortiz seemed pretty elated to finally get one over on his longtime foe but all in all, seeing a 43-year-old defeat a 48-year-old was exactly as strange a spectacle as you would expect.
