Watch: Skip Bayless Delivers Bafflingly Inaccurate Breakdown Of McGregor’s Loss To Nate Diaz

FOX Sport 1’s divisive talk show host Skip Bayless offered perhaps the most ill-informed and incredibly ignorant breakdown of any MMA match-up in recent memory when he delved into last year’s fight between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz at UFC 196.

MMA is a complex sport. Even for those who live and breathe by it, it always seems to find a way to surprise us as it continues to constantly morph and evolve. Experts on the subject are few and far between and, for the most part, even they struggle to find common ground when touching on certain areas but if there is one thing they can all agree on comfortably, it’s that FOX Sport 1’s Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe do not rank among their numbers.

Skip & Shannon: Undisputed is an American talk show where a variety of different sports are debated by the program’s two outspoken co-hosts, the aforementioned Bayless and Sharpe. Their official YouTube channel has an impressive 400,000 followers at present time and given their platform on one of U.S television’s most popular networks, it’s fair to say they rank among the most popular sporting personalities in the country.

Their coverage of all things MMA – though usually just things concerning Conor McGregor – has garnered them quite a bit of criticism from those loyal to the sport of MMA, due to their fairly obvious lack of understanding of the sport but in a recent segment that focussed on this month’s Mayweather/McGregor, Skip Bayless managed to completely alienate the MMA community with his completely bonkers breakdown of UFC 196’s McGregor/Diaz in March.
