SBG Ireland middleweight Charlie Ward managed to record his second straight KO victory at Bellator 200 last night, knocking out Martin Hudson in round-one.
Charlie Ward well and truly brought it at Bellator 200 last night in London, knocking out his opponent Martin Hudson in just under half a round after a pretty brutal barrage of ground and pound.
Ward, who fights out of SBG Ireland, was cornered by famed coach John Kavanagh and fortunately enough, found himself free of any controversy, something that set this win apart from his last victory at Bellator Dublin, where his teammate Conor McGregor stole the show with his now infamous attack on the night’s officials.
For Ward, who went 0-2 in the UFC, momentum does seem to be well and truly on his side and with yet another first-round KO, one would assume that his fortunes have changed following a rather strange pair of losses in the UFC.

With this win, Ward moves to 5-3 as a pro with two straight since his departure from the UFC.
