Conor McGregor’s unwavering support of his teammates is explored in greater detail in a recent video uploaded by JFcombat.
Conor McGregor managed to steal the headlines once again this weekend as a result of an altercation that occurred between him and some of the officials involved in Friday night’s Bellator 187 in Dublin, despite the fact that the UFC’s McGregor has virtually nothing to do with Scott Coker’s rival organisation.
McGregor walked out into the packed 3Arena in support of his long-time training partner Charlie Ward and though Ward was able to knock out his opponent John Redmond in the very first-round, the fight will be remembered for the rather ugly incident that soon followed.
Of course, McGregor, like we’ve seen on many occasions before, jumped over the cage’s sides to celebrate with his teammate, causing something of a skirmish between himself and referee Marc Goddard, who was the very same ref who cautioned the Irishman mid-fight at UFC Gdansk just a few weeks earlier.
Sure, it was all good publicity and to be honest, his team were probably delighted with the extra attention his Dublin event received as a result but regardless of all the controversy and commotion that the incident caused, those who know McGregor will be aware that he is most definitely prone to fits of strong emotion when it comes to his teammates.
A new compilation video from the YouTube channel JFcombat explores the deep connection McGregor has with his long-time training-partners when they fight, something that is a testament to the endless loyalty that can be found between those training at SBG Ireland.
