The press conference meeting between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor was followed by a memorable face-off that saw one man clearly come out on top.

The YouTuber Alpaca Thesaurus has managed to compile yet another insightful take into a landmark MMA event – one that focussed entirely on the moment Khabib and Conor finally stood face-to-face.

We all know that it was the Irishman who came through with more than a few glorious soundbytes but for the most part, the actual Q&A is a hard one to properly dissect.

For every person who will tell you that Nurmagomedov was rattled by the constant abuse thrown at him by McGregor, there will be another who will just as adamantly stress that it was Conor who seemed to be overly emotional.

Either way, the picture painted by the pair’s staredown was one that seems to be a lot more clear. From the get-go, McGregor was the one who controlled the flow of proceedings and to be fair, it did seem as though he was able summon up a rather weak reaction from his adversary.
