José Aldo absolutely destroyed Jeremy Stephens at UFC Calgary with an impeccably timed body-shot in the very first round.
Oh man, that probably felt good!
Aldo managed to bounce back in incredible fashion at UFC Calgary last night, crushing the fearsome Jeremy Stephens in the opening stanza of their co-main event fixture.
For all the adversity the Brazilian has been forced to overcome in recent times, he looked about as game as one could hope for this time around.
That’s not to say he didn’t have to jump some hurdles, however.
Many had speculated whether José’s chin would be able to withstand the bombs that ‘Lil Heathen would no doubt bring to the table but after taking some hard shots right on the button, the former-champ was able to rally and get his man out of there in emphatic fashion.

Sure, there were some who said it was an early stoppage but in truth, that body-shot more than likely did enough to end Jeremy’s night there and then.
It’s hard to know what the future holds for Aldo but for now, you can see exactly how much it meant to him to get himself back into the win column.
