The UFC flyweight champion Henry Cejudo managed to completely run through TJ Dillashaw at UFC Brooklyn, TKO’ing him in 32 seconds.
For all the ways that last night’s eagerly anticipated super-fight could have finished, you’d be hard-pressed to find many who would have picked it to play out as it did.
Cejudo managed to earn himself another victory in a seemingly unwinnable matchup after his UFC 227 victory over Demetrious Johnson this year, this time destroying the heavily-favoured bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw in less than a minute.
Sure, the stoppage was a tad early – a sentiment UFC president Dana White gave his take on post-fight – but all in all, ‘The Messenger’ was the one who grabbed the fight by the scruff of the neck from the get-go.

One would have to assume that a rematch will take place at 135lbs with the bantamweight title on the line – something that Cejudo hinted at in the pre-fight buildup.
