Watch: Extended Footage Of Conor McGregor At Michael Conlan’s Pro-Debut

New footage has emerged of the UFC’s lightweight champion Conor McGregor before, during and after he cornered the debuting Michael Conlan in Madison Square Garden last month.

Conor McGregor has been something of a quiet figure in recent times, at least by his own standards anyway. At UFC 205 he achieved his own special slice of history when he defeated the defending lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez in emphatic fashion to become the first fighter in the history of the promotion to ever hold two belts simultaneously.

With his stock at an all-time high and his notoriety beyond question, McGregor – for the most part – chose to disappear from the spotlight in order to prepare for the birth of his first child but despite this fact, he appeared at Madison Square Garden last month to corner Irish boxer Michael Conlan in what was his professional debut.

And even though there was no doubt that it was Conlan’s night, McGregor – in true McGregor fashion – managed to steal the show with a passionate rant aimed at the boxing media as well as all of those who have been doubting his chances in his heavily-speculated but yet to be confirmed match-up with the legendary Floyd Mayweather.

Now, with weeks having passed since the Conlan fight, McGregor’s own media publication TheMacLife have released an extended look at the night’s events, and from start to finish, the Notorious One exhibits some real excitement and ferocity.
