With the first press conference between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor set, relive the last time he took part in a pre-fight presser.
Oh, what a time to be alive!
Last night came the news that both of the men featured in the UFC 229 main-event would be taking part in a pre-fight press conference next week. It really did feel like a long time coming but with it now set in stone, we can finally put our fears to bed because the circus is well and truly about to start up once again.
The last time Conor featured in a UFC pre-fight press conference, it was ahead of his UFC 205 super-fight with Eddie Alvarez and just in case you’ve forgotten, it was a pretty heated spectacle.
Sure, he would go on to win the bout in pretty dominant fashion – but at the time, his lightweight debut was one of the modern-era’s most eagerly anticipated fights.
Relive the event from the moment Conor arrived (late) and remind yourself of the sheer lunacy that comes around when the McGregor show comes to town.
