Conor McGregor spoke to SHOWTIME’s Jim Gray for the very last time before he finally steps in to take on Floyd Mayweather in what will be his pro-boxing debut.
The atmosphere was nothing short of electric in the fairly-well packed t-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for today’s official weigh-ins between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor. The fact that these two gargantuan personalities will finally cut the chat and lace up gloves in a matter of hours is slowly dawning on the world and if you perhaps felt as though something was lacking from Wednesday’s rather drab final press conference, tonight’s offering served up a healthy dose of energy that saw the ‘Notorious One’ at his visceral, ferocious best.
Jim Gray of SHOWTIME spoke to McGregor after he successfully made weight and in keeping with tradition, he was terrifyingly brutal in his prediction for the fight. Calling the boxer Mayweather out on his current physique, Conor looked a picture of pure confidence and more importantly, looked to be in the best shape of his fighting career, a testament to his truly excellent and thorough preparation since day one of this now-legendary fight-camp.
