After nearly two years out of action, Conor McGregor gave fans their first live glimpse of him sparring MMA in quite some time at last night’s open workouts.
Obviously, it will be quite difficult to tell exactly how much of an effect his time off has had on him until he actually steps into the octagon, but for what it’s worth, Conor looked sharp as he ran through a few light drills with Owen Roddy last night.
We all know exactly how methodical the Irishman can be with what he shows us and with some noticeable emphasis placed on both his uppercut and knees, he could well be trying to throw out a red herring of sorts to Team Khabib in the final hours before their inevitable clash.
That, or he does plan on using both techniques frequently in an attempt to disrupt the sambo-master’s game. Who knows!

Tonight will see Conor and Khabib face off once again, this time at their second press conference meeting. Make sure you’re well-informed on everything you need to know before the whole circus kicks off.
