Volkan Oezdemir managed to score a brutal knockout of light-heavyweight contender Ilir Latifi on the UFC Uruguay main-card last night.
Though known for his ability to end fights quickly, No Time was a more methodical fighter during his South American debut last night.
After a three-fight skid that saw him lose out to Daniel Cormier, Anthony Smith, and Dominick Reyes, Oezdemir managed to bounce back in emphatic fashion with a strong performance against Ilir Latifi in Uruguay, knocking the Swede out cold in the second round after a patient display.
After something of a hesitant opening period, Volkan began to up the intensity – catching his opponent hard on the chin with a perfectly timed knee that led to the finishing sequence.
