The champion of the UFC’s welterweight division, Tyron Woodley, has reportedly undergone successful shoulder surgery ahead of his supposed return to action next year.
The champ is back, ladies and gentlemen.

Woodley, who was last seen in action against Demian Maia at UFC 214, anticipated missing out on the remainder of 2017 following his injury but with this development, is now free to work towards his full recovery.
170lbs is a shark-tank right now and with the division’s supposed top-contender Rafael dos Anjos now in pole position to get the next shot at the belt, do not rule out the possibility of seeing these two throw down some time in the first half of 2018.
Dos Anjos’ clinical performance and victory over the great Robbie Lawler has seen many point to him as the logical next choice for ‘the Chosen One’ but with the allure of the big-money fights still a factor, who knows exactly what Tyron will do upon his return to full fitness.
We’ve heard talk of Nate Diaz, Georges St-Pierre and even a super-fight with Conor McGregor but for Woodley, after two of the most stylistically challenging matchups to take on in his last three outings, I’m sure he’ll be hoping for some serious compensation for signing across the dotted line next time out.
