UFC London headliners Darren Till and Jorge Masvidal faced off for the first time ahead of their welterweight showcase on March 16.
And what a fight it will be!
Till is looking to rebound from his brutal loss to divisional champion Tyron Woodley at UFC 228 with a win over one of the game’s toughest competitors.
Linked with a move to the 185lb division, the Liverpudlian seems set on staying at 170lbs for at least a little while longer before making the seemingly inevitable jump to test himself against the bigger men at middleweight.
As for Masvidal, while he was briefly linked to an absolutely tantalising matchup with the former Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz, that fight has completely fizzled out and now, ‘Gamebred Fighter’ has been signed on for a matchup that will see him fight for the first time since UFC 217.
The pair faced off for the first time at today’s UFC London press conference.
