Tenshin Nasukawa extended his unbeaten kickboxing record with a glorious third-round TKO of Fritz Aldin Biagtan at RIZIN 15.
Those who only know of Tenshin because of his in some ways farcical New Year’s Eve showdown with Floyd Mayweather at RIZIN 13 will have no doubt gotten the wrong impression of this young man’s talents.
At 20-years-old, the tougher challenges will certainly be yet to come but for what it’s worth, Nasukawa stands as one of the finest prospects in Asian combat sports today.
Despite his young age, Tenshin has been in there with several high-profile opponents already, including the aforementioned Mayweather and the former UFC flyweight title challenger Kyoji Horiguchi.
For those in-the-know, it has been clear for some time that this guy is on his way towards superstardom, with him boasting dual undefeated records in kickboxing (30-0) and MMA (4-0).
In his appearance at RIZIN 15 today, the thirtieth pro-fight of his kickboxing career, Tenshin was able to well and truly put on a show for those in attendance while scoring a third-round TKO victory in the process.
