One of the top bantamweight prospects in the spot, Song Yadong, just managed to seal his spot in the divisional top-15 with the biggest win of his career to date.
21-years-old, 4-0 in the UFC with three finishes, and now, a win over the #13-ranked bantamweight in his back-pocket.
To those in the know, Yadong has been amongst the most hotly-tipped rising talents in the game, an incredibly experienced young man who despite his young years, has racked up a whopping 19 pro-fights, dating back to when he was just 15-years-old.
Facing the incredibly underrated Alejandro Perez, Yadong was able to impress Joe Rogan and co. in the commentary booth from the get-go before completely sparking his opponent just after the two-minute mark.

All in all, it was a true coming out performance for the Chinese prospect – who was fighting outside of Asia for the first time tonight.
His coach at Team Alpha Male, Urijah Faber, has stressed the fact that Song’s grappling is, in fact, where his specialities lie – despite his clear aptitude for striking, something that will no doubt make him that bit scarier to those who lie above him in the 135lb rankings.
