Ryan Curtis Ends 18-Month Absence With Stellar First-Round TKO

Ryan Curtis well and truly owned Dublin’s 3Arena in his first matchup inside the cage in 18 months.

The Chaos Cartel made their voices heard tonight as their hero Ryan Curtis strode into the Bellator Dublin cage to take on Luis Gonzalez on the event’s undercard.

It was only an undercard showcase in name, though, because in all honesty, the noise that emanated from the crowd throughout was nothing short of deafening.

When the fight started, Curtis was nearly flawless, catching his man with a clean knee early in the first – a shot that changed the complexion of the bout from there on out.

A barrage of strikes – both on the ground and on the feet saw ‘Chaos’ continue to steal away the fight’s momentum until he finally took home the finish at 4:59 of the first-round.

An amazing comeback and a sure sign that things are heating up inside the 3Arena tonight.
