Paulo Costa lived up to his billing once again after annihilating longtime contender Uriah Hall with a brutal display of power at UFC 226 last night.
Paulo Costa could well be the most vicious competitor in the middleweight division today. This guy is quite literally a wrecking ball.
A walking, talking sledgehammer whose physique is like something you’d see in a movie – Costa has managed to finish every single one of his twelve opponents to date and his opponent at UFC 226 last night, Uriah Hall, was no exception.
Hall did manage to have some early success, firing out a deft jab that did seem to halt The Eraser’s momentum somewhat but when you have power like Costa’s it doesn’t take long for you assert your dominance.
Hall did well, all things considered, but in truth, there was the sense that he was simply delaying the inevitable. When you have a fighter like Borrachinha on top of you, it just isn’t going to end well.
