ONE Championship has made yet another big play, announcing grand-prix tournaments for both their flyweight and lightweight divisions.
The Asian promotion have done everything in their power to elevate their status within the MMA world in recent times with marquee signings like Eddie Alvarez and Demetrious Johnson.
Competition across the field is always a healthy thing for the sport as a whole and, in particular, the fighters. Seeing guys like Alvarez and Johnson successfully testing their free-agency will only serve to help all athletes in the long run.
Earlier today we reported that ONE were expanding into the world of eSports and now, in another huge move, they have announced that both their flyweight and lightweight divisions will host a grand-prix tournament.

Both of their latest signings will, of course, be considered favourites in each of their respective brackets but the competition as a whole will serve to give us a good indication of the talent-level in ONE.
