Niko Price once again proved himself to be amongst the most electric competitors in the UFC by flattening the veteran Tim Means on the UFC Wichita main-card.
Eight fights into Price’s UFC career and the judges have yet to be required.
It’s hard to know exactly how far Niko’s fighting style can take him but to be honest, when he’s turning in performances like the one he shared with Tim Means last night, it’s hard to be too upset.
Means really did look as though he would be able to close the show after he started to find his rhythm on the feet as the first-round went on.
At one point, in the round’s dying embers, he managed to stagger his adversary badly and for a moment, it seemed as though he was about to secure the finish.
Out of nowhere, though, Price unloaded a shot that completely flattened The Dirty Bird, following up with ground and pound to score the TKO win.
Upon falling after eating Price’s hard shot, Means confirmed in the post-fight that he will be forced to undergo surgery after breaking his leg and ankle.
