Nate Diaz has managed to confuse quite a few people with his latest input into the ever-blossoming love triangle (perhaps not) that can be found between himself, Conor McGregor and Tony Ferguson.

Another day, another question over the future of Nate Diaz it seems.

With the momentum slowly picking up in favour of us seeing Tony Ferguson get his ‘red-panty night’, Nate Diaz has once again come out with a response for his Irish rival, with this one dealing with the him finding the balance between taking the money-fights and building his legacy.

Strangely enough, many are pointing to Ferguson as the fight that would solidify Conor’s title-reign – and ultimately his legacy – while Diaz is seen as the money-fight, so naturally this brief but interesting input has left more than a few people confused.

Nate has, of course, fought Conor on two occasions so far, but with his current standing in the lightweight division in mind, it’s just not realistic to give him a title-shot due to his inactivity and recent form at the highest level.

Still though, it doesn’t look like Nate is willing to take any fight that doesn’t offer him a shot at McGregor or a similarly gargantuan payday, so with his future still up in the air, it will be interesting to see how this saga plays out and whether Diaz’s intentions with this tweet become clearer as time moves on.
